This interactive workshop was designed to describe FACT's Standards and accreditation process in an engaging format facilitated by experienced FACT instructors. The workshop includes 7 hours of content that covers case studies and discusses real-life scenarios. Presenters discussed requirements and expectations for accreditation, how to position your organization to pursue accreditation, methods for maintaining accreditation readiness and avoiding and correcting common citations. Additional discussion areas included improving quality in cord blood banking with FACT Accreditation, quality components of a successful stability program, and developing and assessing a quality management plan.
